Our Story
I’ve wanted to be in the beauty industry since I was 11 years old. I played with barbies but only changed their clothes and did little updo’s on them, then I’d be done. I dreamed of opening a salon even then. I would have a coffee shop and a baby sitting area so moms could get doted on even without a sitter. When I entered adulthood I still wanted to go to beauty school. At the age of 24 and with a 4 and 3 year old I began to make that dream come true. I finished beauty school in 2012 and went to work at a local chain salon. Then I left that to venture into renting a chair in a salon. Where I met an amazing woman that I learned so much from. She took me under her wing and had me take over the space there. After discovering what I was capable of and how deep the passion for the industry was I opened my salon “Rasor’s Edge Salon,LLC”. Within three years I had a busy booming salon with some of the most wonderful stylists I’ve ever met and had the privilege to work with. At almost eight years with life and other changes a shift was coming. That shift was going from a five chair busy salon to a small but beautiful new direction. What we see now, an intimate salon that caters to more than just hair. One that has the heart of an 11 year old me.
